This is a riveting tale and hard to put down once begun.  The cast of characters are beautifully portrayed and show the power of love and friendship.  The final pages yield one surprise after another and make this a real page turner.  The villain is a complete surprise and the ending leaves the reader anxious for another book from this very talented author. I believe this is Ms. Hodapp's best book thus far.

Margaret Hodapp has outdone herself with her latest novel. She continues to delve into the lives of the women of Crystal Lake with this story about Cathy Roberts. There is the feeling of coming together again with old friends and their lives touching as they go about their everyday business of living, when suddenly things go amiss in Cathy's life. There is suspense that doesn't leave you any choice except to keep on reading and reading, as Margaret has proven herself to be a real master of suspense!
